Coal Industry Centre

The Coal Industry Centre provides tours and on-site industry experiences for many groups within the community and visitors to the Hunter Valley.

The Centre can coordinate technical study tours for overseas delegations and industry partners.

Inspections of underground and open cut mines, power stations, and other facilities are available.

Coal Industry Centre - Location

The Coal Industry Centre is centrally located in Singleton, right in the heart of the Hunter Valley coalfields region of NSW Australia.

Visitors will experience the mining process, power generation and port loading facilities through models, static, audio-visual and interactive displays within the centre.

An inspection of an open cut mine is also available where the enormity of operations can be appreciated.
